What’s New?
Improved voice and video call experience
This version brings a number of features to improve the experience during voice and video conference calls. In conferences it’s often not easy to know who is talking if you don’t know the person’s voice. The new talking indicator will show who is currently talking. To get everybody’s attention when you want to say something the raise hand feature is introduced. You will also see if participant’s microphones are muted to help with people trying to talk but can’t be heard because of their muted microphones. The app will switch to full screen as when somebody is sharing content.
Improve readability of messages
As Biocoded is not only used for text messages but often as well to share code or log files there is the new feature to format messages as code snippets which makes it easier to read. The formatting is changed on code snippets so they are easier to interpret by the receiver.
Animated GIFs are supported
Animated GIFs is a fun way to communicate and have a more interactive conversation. With this version of Biocoded the animated GIFs are now shown or should we say played when received so the animation can be immediately seen.
Improvements
Retry Shortcut for biometric unlock
When using biometric unlock security function it is easier now to retry an unsuccessful try with a new shortcut for the biometric unlock functionality.
Improved caller name resolution
The caller name resolution when receiving a call is now faster so it’s immediately shown who is calling and the receiving party can faster identify from whom they are getting a call.
Stability improvements
This version also brings a number of stability improvements that overall enhance the user experience of the application.
